The auction house matches buyers and sellers

The auction house now works like an exchange: offer to buy or sell, and it matches you with the other side.

Auction house

  • Offer to buy or to sell anything, and the house trades it for you with whoever offered the other side, now or later, even while you are away
  • A trade happens at the price of the offer that was there first, and if you offered to pay more you get the difference back
  • Type an item's name, or tap it in the market or your bag, to see what it trades for, how much is for sale now and how much is wanted
  • Buttons set how many and the price, and the button you press says exactly what will happen before you press it. Selling far under the usual price asks first
  • The market shows one line for each item: the cheapest it is for sale and the most anybody will pay
  • Your offers show how far each has got, and you can abort one to get back what it still holds
  • You can have up to 8 offers open, buying and selling together
  • What your offers bought or sold while you were away waits at the house, and you are told when they trade. Collect it into your bag or straight into your bank
  • A market stall in the bar at the top shows when something is waiting at the house. Tap it to see what
  • Your last 20 trades are listed at the house
  • Your lots already on sale became sell offers and carry on as before

Reference

  • Every item's page shows a chart of what it traded for over the last 30 days, and a Trade this link that opens it at the auction house
